LA STRADA Journeys in contemporary art 27.6. - 31.8. 2008

La Strada brings together an international group of artists, whose work depicts the
result of their respective journeys. All the artists featured in the exhibition take on
journeys, some quite literally. The common denominator the invited artists have is
attention to detail and execution of plan.

A process has a culmination point. Thus any work of art is the final outcome
justifying the process. The curatorial standpoint, however, is not so much in the
works of art as it is in the process. Journey is defined as a quest, a voyage towards
a higher goal. La Strada exhibits the constructive force of art.
